Job Function:

  • Work with arrangers to structure, market and execute BSL as well as PC/MM CLO transactions
  • Negotiate & execute CLO documentation (both BSL and Middle Market/ Private Credit CLO) with arrangers and investors.
  • Intimate knowledge of CLO indentures is required
  • Execute across various financing facilities including CLO Warehouses, ABL facilities, Subscription lines etc.
  • Optimize CLO capital structures keeping in mind Rating Agency criteria, Portfolio Manager investment style & return targets for both BSL and PC/MM transactions
  • Develop proprietary cashflow models in excel in addition to using Intex to forecast returns
  • Present deal analytics to senior management and investors
  • Participate in various marketing initiatives across CLO debt & equity
  • BSL experience a must and Private Credit/MM CLO experience a very strong positive as the successful candidate will also be involved in private credit financings including the negotiation, execution, and management of ABLs, revolvers, capital call facilities, etc.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business or related business specialty, advanced degree or CFA preferred
  • Legal background in CLOs strongly preferred
  • 7 - 15 years of CLO structuring & execution with a preference for strong sell-side CLO experience
  • Extensive CLO transactions execution experience: daily client interaction, legal document review, rating agencies, quantitative deal analysis/background, closing checklists, etc.
  • Heavy modeling expertise
  • Deep knowledge of CLO indentures required
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, working under pressure to meet deadlines, and the ability to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to travel to key client & industry events
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively yet comfortable of working independently
  • Authorized to work in the US & able to present in-office in midtown Manhattan
