A large healthcare system has an immediate opening for a Senior Compensation Analyst. The position has an opportunity to become remote/hybrid .

Compensation : $35 - $35

  • Provide compensation consulting, education, and analytical support to medical center management, Employee Relations, and HR Business Partners.
  • Develop base salary, bonus, incentive, retention, and other compensation strategies to meet business needs.
  • Perform competitive analysis through third party survey participation.
  • Consult with management regarding job description content, including JCAHO competency requirements.
  • Conduct job evaluations for proper grade level assignment & salary recommendations.
  • Review, recommend and approve job classifications and salary adjustments through Montefiore’s HR Systems.
  • Participates in appropriate salary surveys and ensures accurate job matches and thorough completion of questionnaires.
  • Facilitates and assists in the administration of salary increase programs for the union and non-union population.
  • Assist in the development of compensation structures and salary scales.
  • Assure compliance with collectively bargained contractual compensation commitments.
  • Supply testimony at arbitrations and grievance hearings as needed.

Job Requirements:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years Compensation experience. Prior health care, experience with union contracts/compensation highly preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with HCM systems (i.e., SAP; InFor; etc.).
  • Experience with online survey management and compensation benchmarking tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
