Our client is a leading Global Macro / Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund located in Connecticut with ~$20Bil AUM and 200 employees across its global offices. As part of their Global Quantitative Research Analyst team, this is considered a highly valued hire who will be a creatively focused, idea-generating senior quant analyst who will:
- Develop alpha signals, constructing portfolio strategies
- Refine, hone & optimize models and performance on existing strategies working closely w the PMs across strategies working at an expert level in C++/C#, Python, SQL & R
- Work w tech, data, risk & trading to update and enhance risk systems, ensure optimal data integration from new and existing feeds
- Contribute to the Fund's significant systematic trading group working with internal team globally across quantitative data, technology, operations, risk & compliance
Job Requirement:
- MSc, MFE or PhD within hard sciences (Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc) from top university
- Must have 5 - 10+ years proven experience within an established hedge fund working within the portfolio team or alpha signal development
- Experience working within Systematic Fixed Income, Currencies, Futures on multi-asset experience (no credit or equities)
- Expertise w C++, C#, Python, SQL, R a must -- no exceptions
- Strong communications skill set (written & verbal)
- High attention to detail and ability to complete projects on time

- Collaborative professional who enjoys working as part of a team as well, able to work independently
- Position is based in lower Fairfield County Connecticut (1-Hr from NYC)
- Ability to be in-office Tuesday - Thursday which are mandatory collaboration days
