Rapidly growing advisory/consulting firm serving the alternatives investments/investment management space is looking to add a Senior Analyst/Manager to their already impressive team. This firm has a very entrepreneurial culture and mindset that allows for accelerated career growth opportunities.

Job Function:

 

  • Review monthly/quarterly financial packages and audited financial statements for private funds, both domestic and offshore
  • Prepare P&L analytics and maintain fund expense budgets and accruals
  • Review capital calls and distributions prepared by the Fund Administrator and offshore team
  • Ability to interpret Limited Partnership Agreements, Loan Agreements and other related legal documents
  • Knowledge of basic credit instruments. Including, but not limited to: Term Loan, Revolving Lines of Credit, Delayed Draws and Capex and Acquisition Facilities
  • Ability to create amortization schedules which can include but are not limited to: interest earned, OID, prepaid OID, effective interest, PIK interest, recurring income
  • Knowledge of Fund performance metrics such as IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI and MOIC
  • Prepare/review management and incentive fee calculations
  • Effectively communicate with multiple parties including client contacts, senior management, external auditors, administrative agents, bankers, and tax accountants
  • Ad-hoc analytical projects, inclusive of Limited Partner requests and DDQs


Job Requirements:

 

  • 3-6 years of progressive financial services work experience in public accounting, in house fund, or combination of both
  • Strong understanding of Credit Fund accounting
  • Possess a B.S. in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Capable of managing own workload and working independently as well as in teams
  • Experience with VPM is a plus
  • Well-tailored critical thinking skills, strong organizational skills and being highly detailed oriented are a must!
  • Entrepreneurial mind set is a plus
