Top Tier Fund Service Provider looking for Fund Accounting Professional for their NJ Location. This firm offers work from home flexibility and a top-caliber client base, with a strong team of tax professionals from the best firms in the industry. Senior accountant will be an integral part of the accounting team and will report to the CFO.

Job Description:


Compensation : $95000 - $95000

The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Oversee/review the work of 3rd parties to complete funds’ quarterly/annual reporting package, capital calls, distributions, annual taxes and audit including
  • Review funds’ quarterly/annual workpapers, financials and capital account statements
  • Manage funds’ Capital Call and Distribution process
  • Review annual tax returns including K-1s
  • Manage funds’ annual audit process
  • Review fund management fee and waterfall calculations
  • Review fund return calculations (Gross and Net IRRs, MOIC, ect.
  • Review quarterly valuations and supporting files
  • Work with investment team to create quarterly investor letter

Job Requirements:


 

  • 4-7 years of experience in professional accounting with a minimum of 2-3 years focused in private equity accounting
  • CPA
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
  • Understanding of private fund offering docs and the intricacies of private equity funds
