WhiteCap Search is seeking an experienced and adept Senior Scrum Master with a minimum of 10 years of proven expertise in Agile methodologies and project management. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving and facilitating the successful implementation of Agile practices, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless integration of agile engineering practices.

Job Function:

  • Serve as a beacon of Agile knowledge and best practices, coaching teams to embrace Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, DDS, TDD, BDD, CI, and CD to optimize project execution and delivery.
  • Leverage your extensive experience with Agile and project management tools, including JIRA, Pivotal Tracker, MS Project, Clarizen, TFS, and Rally, to ensure efficient team collaboration and streamlined project tracking.
  • Utilize your advanced expertise in defect tracking tools, such as JIRA with Confluence, Bugzilla, and TFS, to ensure that project issues are identified, tracked, and resolved effectively.
  • Harness your understanding of customer feedback management, integrating Zendesk with JIRA, to ensure that customer perspectives are considered throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead teams in implementing Agile engineering practices, including Data-Driven Scrum (DDS), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) principles.
  • Leverage your hands-on experience across a comprehensive technology stack, including C#, ASP .NET, MS SQL Server, Google Script, Python, Angular JS, jQuery, Backbone, HTML 5, CSS3, SharePoint 2013, Project Server, LiveLink 10, MS Visio, SSIS, SSRS, SaaS, and PaaS, AWS, and Azure, to guide technical decision-making and provide mentorship to development teams.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Comprehensive experience with Agile and project management tools such as JIRA, Pivotal Tracker, MS Project, Clarizen, TFS, and Rally.
  • Advanced proficiency in defect tracking tools, including JIRA with Confluence, Bugzilla, and TFS.
  • Proven expertise in integrating customer feedback tools like Zendesk with Agile project management tools.
  • Hands-on proficiency in a diverse technology stack, including C#, ASP .NET, MS SQL Server, Google Script, Python, Angular JS, jQuery, Backbone, HTML 5, CSS3, SharePoint 2013, Project Server, LiveLink 10, MS Visio, SSIS, SSRS, SaaS, PaaS, AWS, and Azure.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of leading successful cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and other relevant Agile certifications are highly desirable.
