A 400-person investment manager firm is seeking to add a Senior Total Rewards Associate to their global team of ten.

  • Conducts market analysis and makes recommendations. Conducts job evaluations on new and existing positions, including content review, benchmarking, market pricing, FLSA determination and alignment within internal structure
  • Perform review of internal salaries and conduct assessment of market compensation to include the collection and review of compensation market data and development of market reference ranges, including report development, analysis of market data, movement recommendation and costing to Director of Total Rewards
  • Partner with Director of Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition to develop competitive compensation packages aligned to the market and internal equity
  • Create various compensation analyses of internal and external pay data and recommend actions
  • Participate in industry conferences and keep abreast of pay trends to help assess compensation program and provide recommendations
  • Prepare annual salary survey submission and analyze results once published to provide summary back to the team
  • Liaise with Finance team for compensation forecasting
  • Deferred Compensation plan management and administration
  • Adhoc reporting requests as needed



  • Develop relationships with benefits broker as well as benefit vendors and partner to design/implement solutions based on aggregated claims activity reporting
  • Participate in welfare plan benchmarking surveys, analyze results, make recommendations
  • Contribute to preparation of management presentations, board updates & employee communications
  • Handle welfare benefits reporting, partner with actuaries to evaluate plan, interact with auditors
  • Review changes to benefits regulation and help assess impact to welfare plans, welfare plan reporting, operational processes, attend industry conferences to report back trends
  • Liaise with Finance Accounts Payable and Payroll teams to ensure they are educated on new benefits or benefits changes to determine impact to any processes

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or relevant field; with drive and passion for HR field
  • 5+ years of experience specifically in a compensation-related role; knowledge of benefits a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Expert technical knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with and analyze large sets of data. Ability to consolidate and modify large data sets with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive data
  • Ability to influence and partner across the organization
  • Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Must exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity and ability to interact effectively and efficiently across different functional areas.
