Our client is an established, Global multi-manager platform with more than $15Bil AUM headquartered in mid-town Manhattan. Their Portfolio Teams invest capital across Quantitative Systematic, Macro & Fixed Income, Fundamental Equities and Tactical trading strategies that capitalize on inefficiencies & arbitrage opportunities within the global markets.  They have a broad footprint with global offices across the US, Europe, EMEA, and Asia.

The ideal hire will join as our Client's Head of Treasury Data & Analytics. This is a critical central role in the Fund and reports into the Deputy Head of Treasury at the Firm. This is a highly entrepreneurial role which has a broad reaching mandate as it pertains to Data Management within the Treasury function.   Core to this role:  

  • Conceptualize, plan, build and integrate systems and processes to ensure the team is producing high quality information and reporting to support strategy planning and decision making as it pertains to funding, capital allocation, risk management, liquidity, regulatory compliance & other Treasury related responsibilities.
  • Provide vital strategic guidance to aid in the decision-making around the analytics & their outputs
  • Lead the a broad effort focused on building systems & reporting buildouts including delineating plans and then, executing the integration to the existing Treasury platform
  • Stay abreast of industry & market developments, incorporating the best innovative practices to evolve the platform  
  • Work with internal & external data provides to ensure optimal capabilities for the Fund  
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues & departments in a manner that best serves the Fund's growth

  • Bachelors in Finance, Engineering or STEM related field
  • Minimum of 7 years Treasury experience at a Hedge Fund or Asset Manager (no sell-side)
  • Experience in a key role RE: Finance Resources Analytics, Treasury related data & analysis
  • Thorough understanding of Balance sheet calculations, liquidity risk and the investment process including funding mechanisms associated w the markets
  • Ability to write & assess code  
  • Strong understanding of key legal & business matters between Funds & Counterparties
  • Expertise in all regulatory & non-regulatory capital constraint issues facing Banks & Providers
  • Strong critical thinker and collaborator who can work independently or as part of a larger team to advance the goals of the Group & then Fund
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to prioritize & manage projects & processes producing top results on time
