This will provide exposure and a close working relationship with our client's most profitable & important trading team. Compensation : $80000 - $110000

Job Function:
The trade monitor will report directly into the PMs on the team. This hire will be start & supervise the Firm's automated trading systems across specifically:
- Monitor live trading for risk & compliance issues and respond urgently to any unusual behaviors and/or market conditions
- Work with the PMs, Quant Researchers, Quant Developers to deploy & observe behaviors of production trading strategies & implement the prescribed changes through the trading day
- Troubleshoot & resolve issues related to scripts and processes for all daily trading activities
- Liaise with the support team, broker dealers and exchanges to resolve any intra-day trading issues
- Document procedures performed and log production issues as they arise
- Performing trading analysis of the team and individual traders; provide synopsis of the broader and together make recommendations to the team for improvements or red flags
Job Requirements:

- 2+ years of trading analyst or trade assistant or trade monitor role or business analyst role
- Understanding & experience of trading & risk systems in the futures markets is an advantage
- strong understanding of algorithmic trading technology & architecture, hardware, software, detection & diagnosis of problems in UNIX servers, related monitoring applications, data connectivity and distribution architecture
- Program experience in Python & Shell to support infrastructure needs ultimately, grow to take on responsibilities for improvements to the system overall
- Strong problem-solving mindset to address complex issues with the team and at times, independently--resolving said problems and reporting on completion
- Strong communications skills and fluency in English
- Bachelors degree
