Our client is an established, Global multi-manager platform with more than $15Bil AUM headquartered in mid-town Manhattan. Their Portfolio Teams invest capital across Quantitative Systematic, Macro & Fixed Income, Fundamental Equities and Tactical trading strategies that capitalize on inefficiencies & arbitrage opportunities within the global markets. They have a broad footprint with global offices across the US, Europe, EMEA, and Asia. They are seeking a highly analytical, detail oriented Trader to join team to support our Systematic & Vol strategies.


Compensation : $125000 - $200000

Job Function:

  • Support Portfolio Managers & Traders globally, 24/6  
  • Manage trading process & futures rolls
  • Respond to global trading needs including covering int'l holidays & gap trading sessions as necessary
  • Oversight of the desk including reporting & reconciliation
  • Liaise with platform teams across Data, OMS, Risk to implement, maintain & enhance system tools and alerts--responding to alerts and escalating as necessary  
  • Own & prioritize projects in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to details.  
  • Ensure trade flow is accurately process across all systems
  • Responsible for Trade Confirmation across asset classes working with broker dealers on a daily basis
  • Work closely with Trading Desk, PMs, Technology & Risk teams
  • Experience w trade matching using Markitwire, Traiana & NYFIX
  • Support data accuracy for the Trading Desk through various reporting tools;  daily FX exposure and swap reset queries
  • Drive process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and controls for data/position quality


Job Requirement:  

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years trading experience
  • Must have proven experience in Buy-Side Trading (can be trading or ops background) having worked directly with PMs & Traders
  • Proven experience in Equities specifically w DeltaOne, Index Arb & Vol Arb strategies
  • Strong understanding & exposure to a variety of asset classes preferably across Futures, Options, FX, FI Swaps, OTC Derivatives  
  • Track-record of working with Prime Brokers & FCM Web Portals and reporting  
  • Advanced Excel & MSO  
  • Top-notch interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal) w an aptitude toward service & improvement service
  • Positive mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a global team
  • Takes ownership for work product with a track record of delivering results and contributing to strategic initiatives
