A fast growing advisory/consulting firm is looking to hire transaction services professionals with 2-6 years of experience.

Compensation : $90000 - $115000

  • Support the day-to-day activities of Transaction Advisory client service teams executing on buy and sell side diligence engagements
  • Assist in identifying issues for purchase price adjustments and potential deal structuring insights
  • Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform tasks including quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, working capital trending, and benchmark, financial statement review, business plan assessments and cash flow statements
  • Lead the preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Participate in the development of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice including assisting in marketing, client pitches, and product and practice development

Job Requirements:


 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree equivalent in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus)
  • 2-5+ years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis (particularly in Excel), including constructing and understanding 3-statement financial models, cash flows and scenario analyses
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Ability to interpret the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis and develop insights and recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management and other stakeholders  
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team dynamic
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work demands and learn quickly
  • CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise is a plus
  • Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
