Our client is looking to hire a strong Buy-Side Treasury professional reporting into the Head of Treasury of a noted, Manhattan-based $6Bil AUM Global Credit Fund. The ideal hire will have strong problem-solving skills, come from a noted Hedge Fund with Credit & CDS experience and with strong cash & collateral management for the Fund.

Job Function:

  • Trade booking & reporting, portfolio maintenance & monitoring  
  • Identify margin inefficiencies across Prime Brokers and asset w Pre- and Post-trade PB allocation decisions
  • Review bilateral margin levels, with an emphasis on CDS positions to highlight off-market rates & escalate as needed
  • Verify, analyze, optimize and/or dispute, if necessary, all margin calls across counterparties & asset classes
  • Manage margin relationships including ISDAs, Repo MRAs, Prime Brokers & FCMs
  • Assist w Fx Spot & Forwards trading analysis to impact execution costs
  • Assist w new Fund launches & counterparty onboarding
  • Responsible for monitoring key analytics and reporting on key cash and collateral metrics
  • Liaise & collaborate internal teams including Portfolio Mangers, Operations, Accounting, Investor Relations & Compliance
  • Facilitate reporting and commentary for senior management  
  • Perform ad hoc projects as requested/required


Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university STEM or Finance preferred
  • 5 - 10 years Experience in a Buy-Side Treasury role with essential collateral & margin experience
  • Understanding of Fixed Income Products and portfolio margining requirements
  • Experienced in Credit and CDS preferred as well as an understanding of complex derivatives & trade structures
  • Mission focused critical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills  
  • Expertise with MSO especially Excel --must have basic VBA, SQL & Python
  • Proven team player with the ability to work independently as needed
