Global Asset Management Firm seeking to add a Tax Specialist to their lean team. This role will work on a domestic & global perspective and be responsible for structuring/planning, cross-border analysis, FX, compliance, and much more.  

Job Description:

Compensation : $115000 - $140000

Job function:

  • Provide quality and timely tax guidance to support business initiative, as required.
  • Review and implement tax processes to guarantee quality & assurance.
  • Support tax reporting including review of monthly tax provisions, reconciliation of annual tax roll-forwards and support for the annual audit of taxes.
  • Support tax compliance processes including the US Federal, State and Local and other annual filings to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • Support forecasting and planning initiatives to facilitate new business initiatives and exploration of new opportunities.
  • Liaise with advisors and tax authorities on matters relating to the Parent business (including restructuring, acquisitions and divestments and new business initiatives).
  • Analyze and support legislative tax changes which impact The Parent Company

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of experience in a tax accountant / tax role in a Big4, a multinational and / or a professional organization; to include a basic understanding of tax principles.
  • Ideally an Accounting Degree (or other finance qualification).
