A notable investment service is seeking a VP of Finance.
Compensation : $150000 - $250000

Job Function:
- Management of external service providers including fund administrator, bookkeeping, tax accountants, auditors, external valuation firms, lawyers, etc.
- Role includes finance management and oversight both of fund and management company (in addition to any other relevant entities)
- Capital calls & distributions
- Cash reconciliations
- Fund performance preparation
- Bookkeeping review
- Budgeting
- Review of annual accounts & tax returns
- Invoice review & management
- Investor / LP requests
- Fundraising support
- Preparation of fund update deck and quarterly letters for LPs
- Regulatory / compliance
- Portfolio company support
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree with at least 4-5 years of experience in Big4 or a similar experience working in finance at a venture capital or private equity firm, or at a fund administration firm
- Active CPA holder preferred
- Detail oriented but ability to see the big picture as well
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Strong user of Excel, savvy with technology
- Hands-on mentality - we are a small team - no task is too small or unimportant
- Ability to multitask, deal with several requests at once and prioritize efficiently with little or no supervision
- Ability to work autonomous and own your work
- Comfortable owning and driving undefined/ambiguous projects
- Interest or familiarity in crypto a plus
