February 2022 Employee of the Month – Gianni Portale

Originally from Eastchester, New York, Gianni Portale is a Senior Associate in WhiteCap’s Temporary Professional Services Division and a graduate of Manhattan College, where he double majored in Marketing and Business Administration.

“I came over to WhiteCap in July 2021 because I wanted a fast-paced position with an unlimited ceiling for growth, which was dependent on the work I put into it,” Gianni told us. “What stands out to me the most since I’ve started is the support I’ve received. Learning all facets of the job within just a few months and having people around me with extensive industry experience to guide me has been invaluable. I love the upward mobility aspect of this role – each week is a new opportunity to improve on the week before.”

Gianni’s recruiting efforts have concentrated on Corporate Services, Talent Acquisition, and Accounting & Finance. He is working toward a leadership role and is eager to support WCS’s growth by focusing on new hire development.
