Nick Cortese joined WhiteCap in August 2018 as a Senior Director in the Healthcare Temporary Staffing Division. He is currently working as a Nurse Recruiter as well as an Account Manager. He says that “working with healthcare workers has been a true honor, especially since COVID hit us in March 2020. We have had to learn to adapt to changing the way we live our daily lives and work.” Specifically in the past year “being able to see the passion of the healthcare workers wanting to pick up an additional full time or part time job to assist in the pandemic has been admirable.” Keeping plenty busy Nick believes that “it truly takes a village to make all of this happen, and here at WhiteCap we have a great group of people who I get the honor to work with.”
Nick’s manager, Grant Thomas, has called on him to take on additional responsibilities and help with training new employees. He says that “Nick meets each request with a positive attitude and tireless work ethic. His relationships and mentorship with his peers make him an irreplaceable part of our Healthcare Temp Team and a prime example of who we want to employ here at WCS Healthcare Partners!”
Nick is looking forward to the ability to grow within the organization and grow his book of business. He says that “in order to achieve your goals you have to dream big, and I am lucky enough to have a great management group who believes in my ability to help and grow the healthcare temp division.”
