School is stressful enough as it is, but many underserved communities have the added stress of a search for school materials made near impossible by adversity. At WhiteCap Search, we believe Children deserve new, unused supplies, regardless of their family’s financial standing. That is why we hosted a Back to School Drive in our NYC office to benefit Rising Ground, an organization dedicated to positive change for NYC families!
On Friday, August 25, our employees in Manhattan, Long Island, and Connecticut came together to donate new and unused school supplies for students K-12. From backpacks to notebooks and glue to markers, our employees showed true WhiteCap Search generosity in making sure students would have what they need for the upcoming school year.
Some employees and social media followers could not participate in the Back to School Drive, but that didn’t stop them from donating what they could on Rising Ground’s Online Donation Page.
We are so proud of the ongoing efforts by our team throughout the month of August to make this possible. Between reminders to bring in supplies and posting online to get followers to participate online, as well, this was a team effort that deserves recognition.
