All signs are pointing to a strong second quarter of hiring in a variety of industries. As most have noticed, the NYC bustle has largely returned. Busses and trains are more crowded, and the sidewalks are fuller. The climate in NYC is moving toward employees working in person more days than they did in 2022, especially in the Administrative Support space. As an example, within the financial services industries most firms are in 4 days a week and many are in 5, while other industries including creative and tech seem to be averaging 3+ days in office.
We are seeing that candidates who are prioritizing working with a great team at a great firm and not just roles with the fewest number of days in office are being presented with significantly more exciting opportunities. While we are still seeing some roles that are only in 2-3 days per week, the vast majority are more.
