Believing in the Vision and Joining WhiteCap
Conor joined WhiteCap Search because of the people he met during the interview process and the exciting potential they described. He was drawn to the founding partners’ message and long-term vision for the firm, which made the decision to leave his previous career an easy one. Over the past eight years, Conor has found it incredibly gratifying to see that vision come to life.
“Conor has been with WhiteCap since the day we launched in October 2017. It’s been a privilege to watch him grow both personally and professionally over that time. When he joined us, he was new to the recruiting space but came with a tremendous work ethic and interest in learning from those around him. Conor’s leadership has been defined by his ability to lift others up. He’s proud to have mentored and managed several junior team members throughout his time at WhiteCap, including Adam and Ben, who have both gone on to hit major career milestones. Seeing their success has been one of the most rewarding parts of his journey.

Looking ahead, Conor’s vision is to elevate the FS Perm team to become the gold standard at WCS-a high-performing group with strong tenure that creates a more enjoyable and fulfilling place to work.

Conor believes the most rewarding part of his WhiteCap career has been the relationships he’s built along the way. Many colleagues have become close friends, and sharing different life stages and experiences with them has made his journey especially meaningful.
A Leader Who Embraces Growth
To aspiring leaders, Conor offers this advice:
“Be confident in what you know and be humble enough to know what you still need to work on. Rarely is anyone ‘ready’ to take on leadership—it’s an ongoing process, but you can take on more than you think you can.”
His approach emphasizes that leadership is not about perfection—it’s about being willing to grow, challenge yourself, and continuously step up.
Staying Motivated in a Challenging Industry
Sales is a demanding business that requires consistent effort to stay ahead. Conor recognizes that in an industry where the “product” is people—with emotions, goals, and ambitions—the work we do is incredibly rewarding. Helping people reach their goals and supporting companies in achieving their vision is what keeps him inspired and motivated every day.
