On September 22, 2022, WhiteCap Search hosted a Fundraising and Networking Event at Dear Irving on Hudson in Midtown Manhattan.
The event combined efforts to fundraise for women’s healthcare services and network with other young professionals through their Ambassadors Program. WhiteCap Search has verticals within both healthcare and corporate services, with connections within the private and financial services sectors that can make an impact on our healthcare clients by providing services to those most in need.
“I’ve known Anne, her board of directors, and amazing team of clinical professionals for 10+ years” Co-Founder and COO Barbara Tamberlane said. “In our business, we can impact access to employment and access to healthcare in one transaction which is incredibly rewarding. As a society we do a great job of taking care of our babies but can do a better job of taking care of our moms. Being a business leader and mom of two, I understand the importance of women’s health and the impacts inside and outside of the workplace.”
The WhiteCap Search and Sun River teams hosted over 120 attendees and various speakers to help bring education and awareness to the various programs and share patient stories.
“It was a tremendous turn out and extremely rewarding to see and speak with the leadership team from Sun River who are helping those most in need in our communities. We value the partnership as well as the friendship we have developed over the years.” – Ruth Portnoy, Vice President, Staffing Services – Healthcare
Fundraising events help further Sun River Health’s mission of providing access to high-quality, comprehensive health care for all. Services provided are particularly critical for the underserved and vulnerable across Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island.
“I personally have spent the past 5 years assisting in the recruitment of physicians, advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals to this organization – so it’s wonderful to see how those business interactions directly impact local communities. We look forward to our continued relationship with Sun River Health, as well as cross-collaboration across our many lines of business. By pooling connections, resources, fundraising efforts, or simple conversation, we can continue to make a large impact – together.” – Madeline Cavanaugh, Senior Managing Director – Healthcare

Sun River Health believes that everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. However, with the rising cost of health care, that goal is increasingly out of reach for many New Yorkers, who often go without affordable, life-changing, primary and preventive care for themselves and their families. With your support, the Sun River Health Foundation ensures that our nearly 250,000 patients receive the care they need and the respect they deserve.
