New York, NY, JANUARY 19th, 2021 – WCS Healthcare Partners, a WhiteCap Company, is pleased to announce they have achieved Joint Commission Certification. The Joint Commission is a governing board within the healthcare industry that drives quality and improvement and patient safety. This achievement recognizes WCS as part of an elite group of Healthcare staffing firms that are highly regarded leaders within the industry.

On Friday, January 8th, Grant Thomas, our Managing Director of Temporary Staffing, led WCS Healthcare Partners through our initial Joint Commission audit. Over 22,000 US healthcare organizations seek accreditation or certification from the Joint Commission on an annual basis.

“Completing our initial audit and being approved for certification is a significant accomplishment for WCS Healthcare Partners. Joint Commission certification exemplifies our commitment to supplying quality staff and services to our clients. A continued dedication to compliance and safety has, and always will be, a focus of WCS Healthcare Partners as we look to become a provider of choice for healthcare staffing in the New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey marketplace,” Thomas stated.

The Staffing Services certification is only available to Staffing Firms who place Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other Allied health professionals into Hospitals, Practices, Community Centers, Schools, and other settings.

“At inception, the focus of our Temporary Services division was to establish and build a loyal following of clients in need of hiring clinical professionals,” said Barbara Tamberlane, Founder and COO of WCS Healthcare. Our business has grown very quickly in the last 2 years due to hiring seasoned sales professionals and excellent recruitment talent. It was time to complete the certification process to take us to the next level.”

The Healthcare Operations team leaders spent the better part of 2020 developing their operational procedures, clinical training, and performance evaluation process for all of our temporary placements and prepared hundreds of active worker files for the audit.

“We have had to expand our operations in rapid fashion to be able to keep up with the growth trajectory,” Tamberlane said. The audit process went smoothly, as anticipated, because of the tremendous foresight and experience on the team, as well as our use of technology and paperless systems. We now have the foundation to grow at an exponential pace and I am looking forward to see what the teams can achieve in 2021.”
